Kyauktaw: An extremist Rakhine attacked a Rohingya with a sharp object and wounded him critically in a village of Kyauktaw Township today (14th October), report sources.
A Rohingya beef seller was attacked on his head by a Mogh (Rakhine) in the Key Loum village at around 3:30 PM and his head were almost chopped into two pieces.
The attack left him to bleed heavily and is in need of immediate treatment now. The victim was identified to be Ziyabur Rahman S/O Fazal Karim, 33.
The Mogh attacker is named to be Kyaw Wing S/O Mg Kyaw Than hailing from nearby Nga Sambow village.

The victim’s health condition is very critical and they are no access to health-care in the area, due to heavy travel restrictions and discrimination at government hospitals and clinics.
Attacks and abuses on Rohingya shop owner is not a new scene in Kyuaktaw Township, as government forces set the Moghs free to commit any criminal activity on the remaining Rohingya.
