Maungdaw: Today Police made an operation to a Ludaing Madarasa, Northern maungdaw, with the excuse of searching a gun and a rifle at 9:00 AM, according to an eye witness.

In the incident 18 policemen arrived with 9 motorcycles at Madarasa compound and started to check the whole Madarasa, where they told villagers that they are in a search of a gun and a rifle.

Later they also checked whether any teacher is teaching in the Madarasa or not and went back at 10:20 AM. Similar operations have been made in other Madarasas in Bura shidda fara, Miyajanfur and Ngakura village, where they harassed and abused villagers after their unnecessary round up.

Harassment and illegal check operation on religious institutions have been a rooted tool for the ongoing GENOCIDE, where authorities are set freely for the persecution on Arakanese Rohingya since the military rule.
