Maungdaw: Burmese Military Raided Pyoung Paik hamlet of Nga Sar Kyu( Naisafuru) and Naribil villages in northern Maungdaw between 6 – 7 June 2017, according to suffering locals.

In the incidence in Nga Sar Kyu( Naisafuru), 20 Military personals arrived in village at 7:20 am and temporarily stationed on a mountain near the main Mosque of the village.

Meanwhile Military started throwing stones and sharp objects on the people in the mosque, who went to take ablution before praying and injured many Rohingyas including an elderly Rohingya, who was severely injured on his arm.

Later while leaving, they robbed and snached many goods like solar panel, an expensive hand watch, etc and money from the Rohingya pedestrians.

In another separate incidence in Naribil village, military raided and stationed at the village Madarasa (Religious school) instead of other vacant places in the village with the excuse of Cyclone More destructing their camps.

Moreover now they have been misusing the religious place and the students are also unable to go to Religious school, leaving locals in extreme fear of military’s further torture. And our latest reports also confirms the forced labour by the military in the same village.
