By RVision TV Correspondent

Maungdaw — The Burmese military gang-raped two Rohingya women in nothern Maungdaw yesterday (on November 2) early morning.

It happened right at a time when the UN Delegation Team was on its way to Maungdaw to inquire into the continuous military assaults on the Rohingya civilians in the region.

The victims are identified to be J….. (daughter of) Z….., 28, and N…… (daughter of) S……, 27, from ‘Chaik Chaung (Gerak Khali)’ hamlet of ‘Long Doong’ village tract around 8:00 AM.

“We were two women. They robbed our ornaments. Then, the military pointed their guns at us. They tore off our clothes and stripped us off. When we tried to escape, they threatened to kill us. They were putting their hands here, there and all over our bodies.
“When we shouted, they whacked us. And two of them raped us first. When they finished it, two more came. And it continued” said the raped victim, Ms. J….. (shown in the above featured image).

At least 50 women were raped or ganged-raped and many more women were molested by the Burmese military since they began assaults on the Rohingya civilians in Maungdaw.
