For past three days here (in Kyauktaw township), Rakhine extremists have been distributing leaflets among Rakhine communities inciting anti-Rohingya violence. On 14th April 2014 afternoon, three Rakhine extremists inquired Rohingya people of the address of Mv. Nasser, a Rohingya activist, from the village of Baar Fara. When the Rohingyas replied they have no idea of that, they scolded them and threatened that they would attack us in full-fledge soon.

Starting yesterday (on 14th April 2014) evening, hundreds of Rakhine extremists have been crowding and besieging Rohingya villages in Kyauktaw. They threatened “you Kulars leave your homes and villages. Else, we will kill you all soon.” Some of the villages currently under the siege of Rakhine extremists are Radapun Auksu (Nairong), Auk Paikthay (Zailla Fara), Kaung Douk (Hondol).

Besides, we fear that local Rakhines will attack us in collaboration with the armed Rakhine terrorists that have recently entered from Bangladesh and are now living among Rakhines and amidst mountains.
