Buthidaung: Over 200 families while fleeing atrocities were looted by Military personnel from different villages of Buthidaung Township on their way towards the border area, reports suffering locals.

Around 1000 villagers from the villages of Buthidaung like SindiPrang, PoYangChaung, PhoKaungChaung and Say Oo Kya started their journey towards Bangladesh, whom were forced to be evacuated by the government forces using fire and fierce in the region.

On their way towards the ongoing exodus they were looted by the Military. They looted all the remaining money and gold ornaments from the starving Rohingya and left them in limbo of their horrific journey. “Military looted all our money and gold. Now only God knows how will we cross to Bangladesh? We do not have anything to give to the boatmen” says a victim, weeping over his situation.

Government baked authorities are increasing the persecution level day by day and are forcing the remaining villagers to cross over to Bangladesh.
