Zero-Point: Rohingya Threatened to Return Amid Persecution

By Rohingya Vision TV Correspondents | 10th February 2018

Tongbru: Burmese joint forces threatened Rohingya waiting at the zero point area of Tongbru sub-Township, Maungdaw to return to their original villages amid ongoing killings and fire all over the northern Arakan (Rakhine) on 9th February, 2018 complains a victim.

Since the beginning of brutal operation in late 2017 hundreds of Rohingya are waiting to cross towards Bangladesh due to the intolerable military persecution in their own villages.

Burmese joint forces threatened them to return by illegally stressing over their dramatic repatriation deal between Burma (Myanmar) and Bangladesh.

In addition to threatening they abused Rohingya by yelling that “Anything will happen to you people like shooting, killings and arresting arbitrarily if you all reject to go back” explains a victim who witnessed the situation.

Now remaining Rohingya in villages and in the border areas are extremely terrified for the upcoming attacks on them. They are in do or die condition as they have no choice either die in the perilous sea journey or get killed brutally in the hands of Burmese forces.
