Two Rohingyas detained and threat of attack in Kyauktaw
TWO ROHINGYAS DETAINED IN ZAILLA FARA VILLAGE, UNDER FALSE PRETEXT AND THREE MUSLIM VILLAGES UNDER THREAT OF MOUGH EXTREMIST’S ATTACK IN KYAUKTAW.

Kyauktaw: Two Rohingya men were detained by police in Zaill fara Village in Kyauktaw Township, on 26th June 2016, according to a local villager.
The incident occurred at 9:00 p.m when both men were standing near the Masjid’s well. Police arrived there and arrested the two men. The victims are identified to be Eliyas, 35 S/O Salim and Mohammed Karim,34 S/O,Sayed karim.
At the scene when some women interrogated on the issue, police attacked the women and took both men to the police station.
Later when villagers along with the village administrator went to the police station to ask about the detained men, police accused them of being involved in human trafficking.
The brutal incident took place just after the threat received from the Mough extremist who threatened three Villages in Kyauktaw Township, where villagers were asked to leave their homes.
The three threatened villages in Kyauktaw are Zailla Fara, Afok and Gufi Daung, where innocent Rohingya villagers are in fear of attacks by Mough extremists.
According to RVISION sources, the two detained men were released from the police station by the village administrator.
Arbitrary detention and threatening Rohingyas to leave their land have been a part daily schedule since the military rule, which this so called democratic new government is also following.
