Buthidaung: Authorities’ looting on Rohingya properties and selling it illegally accelerated as village administrators along with sycophants’ assistance adds up to the same inhumane activities in villages of Buthidaung Township on 14th January 2018, reports a victim.

Village administrator of Rongfara and sycophants from (Mingisi) Mee Gaung Sey village track have accelerated looting Rohingya’s houses and properties in their area and are selling it illegally to Rakhines (Moghs) and Hindus.

At 06:11 PM village admin and 2 sycophant started looting houses of 7 Rohingya in their area, where Rohingyas were forced to flee towards Bangladesh in the recent military operation in the region. The owners of the houses were identified as:

  1. Noor Ahmed S/O Fazal Ahmed
  2. Muhammed Salim S/O Muhammed Fayas
  3. Molvi Abdur Rahman S/O Noju
  4. Abdu Kader S/O Noor Kalam
  5. Sayedullah S/O Abdu Halek
  6. Molvu Muhammed Alam
  7. Noor Islam S/O Noor Kalam

Looting Rohingya’s properties and selling them illegally became a common crime scene on the soil of Arakan (Rakhine), where Rohingyas are not only forced out of their ancestral land but are also scapegoated from all angles just for the crime of residing in their own ancestral land.
