The Surviving Victim Arrested Again

It was Abdul Majid S/o Abdul Malik (Age 30), the only survivor from the attack carried out by Rakhine terrorists in the sea on 11th September 2013. As he arrived home at 7AM of the day, he was arrested by Police from No. 1 police station and investigated the whole day. He was released at 6PM.

However, at 9AM today (on September 12, 2013), military from the battalion No. 270 in Sittwe raided his home and arrested him again. The commander of the battalion rather inhumanely said to him “why have you come back alive? Why haven’t you died as well? You are giving us unnecessary tension.” The victim is currently being interrogated by the military. (Report: Kyaw Zan Htaik, News and Research Team, Sallam OIC)
