Buthidaung- Following the ways of seizing lands of Rohingya people, the headmistress of Buthidaung High School is building wall on the confiscated farmlands blocking the main road that leads from Taung Bazar to Buthidaung in Arakan State.
A few years ago, with the help of authorities the former headmaster of the high school situated in Ward-1 of western sector, Buthidaung town confiscated over 7 acres of farmlands from the persecuted and helpless Rohingya land owners. After that the school headmaster was transferred to another place as his time span was over.
A headmistress named Daw Myari came in his place fromTaung Bazar High School situated in upper Buthidaung and has been running the school for over a year. Being envious and quarrelsome, she is now building up the wall around the confiscated farmlands blocking the main road that stretches out from Taung Bazar to Buthidaung. As the Rohingya villagers who enter into the town by the road protested against her not to block it by building wall, the township administrator prohibited her once.
But she does not take it in the ear and is carrying on the work of blocking the road and the administrator does not stop her any more, a villager has said on the condition of anonymity.
According to the villagers, the authorities do not take any action against the headmistress as the sufferers are the Rohingya people whom they want to finish from the Arakan by persecuting in all possible ways.
