Rohingyas Attacked with Sword and Arrows in Buthidaung

Buthidaung: Rakhine Extremists (Moghs) attacked two innocent Rohingyas at midnight in the village track of Ferullah (Pha R a La) of Buthidaung Township, leaving them critically injured. And Burmese Police arrested 3 Rohingya youths by accusing falsely in Maungdaw Township on 27th October, 2017, reports victims’ families.

A group of Rakhine extremist (Moghs) arrived in the Rohingyas houses in Ferullah (Pha Ra La) village track of Buthidaung Township at 12:50 AM and started attacking with swords and arrows on the sleeping Rohingyas. Due to the sudden attack both the victim woke up to senses and nearby family members and villager started to chase the extremist Rakhine (Moghs), who ran away after conducting the heavy attacks.

Both victims were identified to be from the same family and they are nephew and uncle to each other. Attack made them bleed heavily and are in extreme weak health. “My brother and uncle are critically injured and they need immediate medical assistance” complains one victim’s brother named to be Edrees.

Since early morning a group of police along with sectarian officer from the police quarter from (Nga Ku ra) Nappura village arrived in the Burashiddafara (Oo Kya Kar) village of Northern Maungdaw and arrested 3 innocent youths by accusing falsely.  Their families are in extremely terrified situation, as the most of the fate of the arrestees result them to be killed brutally. Details of the victims are yet unidentified.

Daily assault like physical attack and arrests on the remaining Rohingyas in Maungdaw and Buthidaung will incite their peak of intolerance and will force them to join the ongoing exodus towards Bangladesh , which UN Estimates to be 1 Million soon in the inhumane makeshift camps.
