Rohingya Refugee Suffering from Head Cancer Languish without Treatment

By Rafique

Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh (Rohingya Vision) – A Rohingya Refugee man in a Bangladesh refugee camp has been suffering from a kind of head cancer for one year but is languishing without medical treatments because he is unable to afford the high medical expenses.

The victim is identified to be Mohammed Yusof, father of seven children, living in Kutupalong Camp, Teknaf Area, Cox’s Bazaar district.

“He’s been suffering from the head cancer for one year now. No medical treatment because he can’t afford the cost! He can’t even manage the daily expenditures for the family because of the employment and travel hardships that Rohingya refugees face here.

So, where on earth he will be able to manage the high cost for the treatment of the cancer! But one thing is sure, if doesn’t get the treatment in time, he may face an untimely and unfortunate demise sooner or later,” said a refugee in Kutupalong Camp.

He is originally from Buthidaung Township, Arakan State.

So, you are kindly requested to come forward to help him in this regard for the sake of humanity.
