Rakhine Terrorists Brutally Kill Innocent Rohingya Man in Sittwe
Sittwe (Akyab), Arakan State – The Rakhine terrorists brutally killed an innocent Rohingya man in Sittwe (Akyab) Township last Saturday night, tying his hands and legs with ropes and throwing the dead body in the river afterwards, according to the reliable sources.
The deceased is identified to be Noor Muhammed (son of) Muhammed, 35, an internally displaced person in the displaced camps in ‘Depaing’ village, Sittwe. Besides, the Border Guard Police (BGP) are also said to have involved in the killing of the innocent people.
“Noor Muhammed along with other four people went out for fishing in a river by a Rohingya village called ‘Zubi’ on Saturday evening. As they were passing through a Rakhine village called ‘Aung Dine’ on their way back home around midnight, numbers of Rakhine extremists started chasing them.
The four people managed to escape but Nur Muhammed fell down stumbling upon a stone. Then, the terrorists tied his hands and started beating him brutally. The Border Guard Police (BGP) have also involved with the terrorist.
The BGP whacked him on his face with back of their gun and also pierced his eyes using the guns. Later, the victim died and his body was thrown in the river.
They and other four people didn’t do anything wrong but that they were passing through the village around midnight” an eyewitness-local of Depain IDP Camp said.
“Yesterday, his body was found floating in the river and recovered by the Rohingya people. Although the wife of the deceased person lodged reports to the respective village administrations of ‘Depaing’ and ‘Aung Daing;’ the police station in Manzi village, no concerned authority have taken any action yet.
Later on the day, the corpse was taken to the Sittwe General hospital for the post-mortem” he continued.
This latest incident is one of the many attacks by the Rakhine terrorists on innocent Rohingya people in Arakan state. Moreover, after the recent of visit by Monk Wira Thu, the leader of the 969-Terrorist-gang to the region, the attacks on the innocent Rohingya people become widespread.
