Muhammad Hasanuddin, Rohingya First Baby Born in Aceh

LHOKSEUMAWE – Rabiatun, 19 years, one of the women would give birth to a boy in Cut Meutia Hospital, Lhokseumawe, on August 3, 2015. This is the first child of her.

Rabiatun named her son with Muhammad Hasanuddin. Weight baby boy reached 2,700 grams. This is the first birth of the Rohingya people are now accommodated in the shelter Blang Adoe, Kuta Makmur subdistrict, North Aceh since they set foot in Aceh some time ago.

Rayana said sixth pregnant woman does not have a husband anymore. Their husbands were killed in the conflict in their home country some time ago. Currently pregnant women are spaced apart to be easily monitored regularly abortion health.

“As for Rabiatun, when his condition is stable and according to the doctor may be taken, then we will pick to regroup with other Rohingya Blang Adoe shelter,” he said.
