Mough in kyawktaw occupied Appauk’s farmlands of Rohingyas
MOUGH IN APPAAUK, KYAUKTAW HAVE OCCUPIED THE FARMLANDS OF THE ROHINGYA, BLOCKING DAILY LIVELIHOODS OF ROHINGYAS, COMPLAINS A LOCAL ON THE CONDITION OF ANONYMITY.

KYAUKTAW: Rohingyas in Appauk village, kyauktaw have been barricaded by the Mough locals in their own village stopping their livelihoods on farming from 20th June 2016, according to local.
Mough have barricaded the farmlands of Rohingya using iron chains, where they have also blocked the pathway leading to farmlands, restricting movement of the Rohingyas. Moughs who have confiscated the lands were settled in this village last month, who belongs to Bangladesh.
The situation erupted on 18th June, with a false allegation of touching a mough woman by a Rohingya youth. The innocent youth have been arrested by the authority on the fabricated case.
Appaauk village, Kyauktaw is a home to 130 homes of Rohingyas, where mough are trying to uproot the Rohingya existence. This village holds a very important place in the history of Rohingyas where thousands have been murdered in 1942 violence on Rohingyas.
