Maungdaw: Once again extremists Moghs (Rakhines) blazed a Rohingya house and Burmese fire brigade arrested an innocent Rohingya from quarter 3 of Maungdaw township today (27th January 2018), reports an eyewitness.

At around 12:30 PM 6 – 7 extremists Moghs (Rakhines) arrived from the nearby Rakhine village to their neighboring Shundorifara village and set fire to a Rohingya’s house at sharp daylight fearlessly. After blazing they left the region immediately.

Following that fire brigade arrived in the village and interrogated the locals, where they explained what they saw with their eyes. But in spite of knowing the truth, while patrolling around the incident area they found a Rohingya and arrested him arbitrarily.

According to locals from the area he is an innocent Rohingya residing in the village and now his family is extreme fear of his life. Usually Rohingya detainees are tortured inhumanly or fired to death by the Burmese brutal forces.
