Rathedaung: Landslide in Shilkahli and Kudenkauk village, Rathedaung have worsened since a Mough woman occupied islands and informed authority to damage blockage preventing landslide, according to a local villager.
To prevent the worsening situation, Rohingyas villagers in the Rathedaung with support of the funds from themselves and permission from the authority managed to prevent the landslide by pilling 100’s of mud sacks in the landslide area.
Earlier a Mough woman named to be Ma Mye Aye along with her husband named Kyaw Hla Tun occupied the islands formed by landslide.
Despite illegal occupation, Mough woman complained to the authority about the blockage preventing landslide. By favoring the Mough, the unjustified complain was accepted by the authority. Later the blockage was destroyed by the authority, risking thousands of innocent Rohingya lives and property.
Due to landslide from last 10 years, 60 acres of land have been vanished under water, where 10 acres of land alone is under the occupation of the Ma Mya Aye. Now Villagers are in fear and depression of the next landslide, where chances of losing lives and property are guaranteed.
Land confiscation has been a powerful tool against the Rohingyas in their ongoing GENOCIDE, where authority along with Moughs are risking the lives and property of Rohingyas.
