Insufficient Humanitarian Aids in Flood Prone Minbya
INSUFFICIENT AMOUNT OF AIDS HAS BEEN DISTRIBUTED IN MINBYA OF ARAKAN STATE WHERE POOR ARAKANESE ROHINGYAS ARE IN URGENT NEED, COMPLAINS A LOCAL.

MINBYA: Arakanese Rohingyas in Pouk Si Village of Nagra Borfara village, southern Minbya Township are in urgent need of humanitarian aids, where Red Cross has provided some assistance to some of the villagers on 15th July 2016.
In the incidence up to 300 homes were provided with utensils and clothes in the village, which is home up to 700 houses. Therefore people with urgent needs were left out.
Floods have devastated up to 80 homes and residents are in the temporary shelter now. And Villagers are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance, including clean water and food.
In spite of being in an independent country, poor Rohingyas can’t expect any form of humanitarian assistance from government even at this devastating situation.
