Cox’s Bazaar: Joint Demonstrations Held in Makeshift Camps

Kutupalong: Lingering Rohingya in camps demonstrated during Social welfare minister Dr. Win Myat Aye’s visit, demanding 13 points reports a demonstrator from the rally.

Since early morning demonstration started in camp no. 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 of Kutupalong camp, which were later joint by the demonstrations in camp no. 5 and other camps in Balukhali, Zamtoli, Musoni, Leda and Tenghali as well. In their demonstration they demanded 13 point including safe assurance of their safety after returning and granting all equal and citizenship rights in their own land.

At around 11: 30 AM minister Dr. Win Myat Aye’s visited camps in Kutupalong and later moved to other camps in the evening. In his visits he met around 30 Rohingya from different camps.

In total 13 demonstrations was held together at once in front of the minister and demanded 13 points in restoring their rights. Earlier many demonstrations were held in these camps demanding their rights and Rohingya still await international bodies to take action in their ongoing human made catastrophe.
