Kutupalong: Lavatories leakage condition in Kutupalong makeshift refugee camp has worsened the lives of multiple Rohingya families residing near the toilet area, report suffering locals today (24th September).
In the D4 – EE area of Kutupalong camp, lavatories leakage has made the Rohingya families living condition more filthy and residents are unable to even breathe.
“We even can’t breathe, we have to cover our nose most of the time and we are suffocating here in this toilet area”, explains a Rohingya women living there.
The leaking toilet is the only eligible one to be use in the area and due to
severe bad smell from it, the residents are almost suffocating.
Sufferers also reported that, they have no option to live there as they cannot afford to shift to another place and make new plastic shelters.
This report of mismanagement and negligence have been earlier reported as well and Rohingya from the suffering camp are urging for an immediate action to resolve the issue.
