A Young Arakanese Rohingya was Tortured and Beaten to Death by BGP in Maungdaw
Border Guard Police (BGP) killed an innocent young Rohingya on false accuse of having connection with RSO in 4-Mile, Maungdaw, Arakan, according to an eye witness.
BGP from the camp of 4-Mile arrested a young Arkanese Rohingya named Moulovi Anisur Rahman, aged 22, son of Moulovi Siraj form Gaw Du Ta Village Tract, Maungdaw at night on July 5. Then he was tortured and beaten to death in lock-up on the night of 28 July 2016 alleging on having connection with RSO which is totally rootless, RSO was long eliminated since 1990 according to Bertil Linter a CNN Journalist.
Dead-body was sent to the Public Hospital of Maungdaw but not surrendered to the family as people would know how cruelly BGP tortured him to death.
In the evening at around 4 on 29 July, the dead-body was buried by village head with strong security of BGP in the cemetery of village mosque in southern village of Maungdaw Town.
BGP constantly carries on a slow-genocide on ethnic Arakanese Rohingya, he said.
