A Fire Incident Burned Twenty Shops in Leda Market

Cox’s Bazaar: A fire incident broke out and burned down twenty Rohingya shops in Leda market of Nayapara refugee camp, Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh yesterday (24th February 2019), reports a Rohingya from the scene.

At around 12:30 AM the fire flared up in Leda Bazaar near the Nayapara Rohingya refugee camp and more than 20 shops have been burned down to ashes, according to a local.

Locals and Rohingya managed to distinguish the fire somehow, after battling it with fear and panic among the people.

As the fire broke out late night no one had any idea from where such a huge fire arose and it created a panic among the nearby residing Rohingya families.

The details of any possible human casualties are yet unreported and owners of the shops also couldn’t be identified.
